About Us

In India there is a saying that a woman blossoms in  to her true essence only upon achieving motherhood. It is said that she is the benefactor and is held in high esteem even above the Almighty as she is the “Giver of Life”.

This phase of life is filled with both trials and tribulations. On one side you have your share of anxiety and concerns regarding taking care of another life who will be truly and solely dependant on you, but when you feel those first flutter within you or see those tiny fingers grasping you for the first you feel overjoyed, elated and swept away by endless rush of positive emotions.

Truly there is no happiness comparable in this world to the joy of being a mother.

Life is turns into a whirlwind when a woman is trying to juggle her family , home and career while maintaining her own identity. Specially so for Indian women due to their traditional upbringing and close family ties wherein you need to not only look after your immediate nuclear family but also take care of your relations without fuss. 

We understand your concerns , your feelings and  the need to reach out to a similar community of Indian moms who are going through similar experiences and challenges that can make your  own daily juggle a bit more manageable. Infact during my own cycle of motherhood, I had major concerns but nowhere to turn to for information, as major women sites across the net do not cater to specific issues of the Indian Mom.

Knowing this, we have created Blog4Mom because we believe that a sincere effort towards addressing issues of the Indian mother is necessary.

We are working hard to make this site and your experience with it as positive and useful as it can be. Over the next few months we will be introducing many new features, so please come back often.
